Within a mere five hours, the Israeli war machine has slaughtered more than 350 people in Gaza as it reneges on a ceasefire agreement.
According to the Gaza Government Media office, dozens of people have also been wounded. It added that the bodies of some of the martyrs have reached hospitals but some have not due to the difficult humanitarian situation on the ground. Transportation has also remained an issue over a lack of fuel.
The Zionist entity with the support of the United States, resumed its genocidal aggression just after 02h00 Local Time on Tuesday morning. The northern, central and southern parts of the enclave were targeted.
The renewed aggression comes amid a catastrophic humanitarian crisis. Since March 12th 2025, the Israeli occupation has shut Gaza’s crossing and blocked much-needed aid into the enclave, effectively imposing a slow genocide through starvation.
Now, the Israeli entity is again seeking to pressure the Palestinian resistance through force to release the Israeli prisoners of war in Gaza after it failed to achieve its goals through negotiations.
Palestine’s Islamic Jihad said that the resumption of the genocide comes after the Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his regime deliberately thwarted all efforts to reach a ceasefire.
It further noted that this new aggression will not give the Israeli enemy the upper hand over the resistance, neither on the ground nor in negotiations. Instead, the PIJ said that it will further weaken Netanyahu’s bloodthirsty Nazi-government and accumulate more failures for them, leaving them humiliated and submissive.
Hamas has also called on the mediators of the ceasefire to hold Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his regime fully responsible for violating and overturning the agreement.
The Palestinian resistance movement warns that these actions expose the Israeli prisoners of war in Gaza to an unknown fate.
