Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa met with his Mozambican counterpart yesterday in an effort to procure more power from South Africa’s northern neighbour.
It comes as South Africans are wary about the decrease in the load shedding frequency these past weeks. Eskom’s energy manager, Eric Shanmagum, says that there may be a better forecast for load shedding during the height of winter, if conditions improve.
