Women’s Africa Cup of Nations champions, Banyana Banyana, celebrated their victory with the community of Athlone yesterday.

They, along with local Cape Town hero and coach, Desiree Ellis, visited fans at Athlone Stadium to inspire youth to pursue their dreams.

Banyana Banyana beat host country Morocco in the WAFCON final to clinch the title of world champions.

Speaking to Radio 786, Ellis reminded the public that children must be allowed to dream, and especially for girls to play sports.
