A 50-year-old man suspected of drugging and raping women has been arrested in Atlantis.

Commonly known as the ‘ice-cream man’ by the community, he is accused of luring young women to his kombi and then driving around with them before sexually assaulting them.

Police say upon arresting the Egyptian national, they found drugs and condoms in his vehicle.

He is set to appear in the Atlantis Magistrates Court tomorrow.
