The United States hosts its presidential elections on Tuesday, 05th November 2024.

The polls have once again been dominated by Democrat and Republican candidates battling it out for dominance. However, with the major shift in the public’s perceptions of the candidates and their stance on Palestine, whether voters opt to write in one of the smaller parties, may show a shift in the direction of American politics.

This, as Jill Stein of the Green Party, has seen her supporters growing amongst Muslim voters, who ordinarily voted for the Democrats. Stein has been vocal about her support for Palestinians as they face a US-backed Israeli genocide.

But as Palestinian-American political analyst, Hanna Eid has told Radio 786, the US voters are being faced with a choice between two Zionist candidates. Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have pledged their blind support for the Israeli entity even amidst a genocide.
