Despite the tragedy that hit popular Gatesville eatery, Golden Dish this past weekend, its owner Rafiek Parker has assured the public and staff that they will bounce back. In the early hours of Saturday morning, a fire ripped through the eatery’s rear kitchen causing extensive damage.

Speaking to Radio 786, Parker thanked his staff for being the backbone of the business and promised that while it won’t be operating anytime soon, it has its eyes set on reopening after the festive season.
