Two men have been found guilty for the 2019 murder of an elderly couple in Ottery.

Rugeya and Riedwaan Addinall had trusted Gcinile Ngcobela with doing heavy chores and gardening at their home.

He later murdered them with the help of Lwazi Ntsibantsiba who worked for him as a painter.

On January 5, 2019, the elderly couple was found strangled, and Rugeyah had rat poison in her mouth.

The duo was also found guilty of robbery with aggravating circumstances.

Judge Bryan Hack has postponed the case to November 3 for sentencing.
