Recently, GCIS has been instrumental in promoting the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan, which emphasizes infrastructure development, industrialization, job creation, and energy security.

A key component of this plan is the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI), designed to tackle youth unemployment by facilitating the transition from learning to earning.

The PYEI brings together various government and social partners to create opportunities in priority sectors like digital technology, agriculture, and social services.
