Two men in their forties have been gunned down and a 19-year-old injured in an attack in Tafelsig in Mitchells Plain.

According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi unknown gunmen opened fire on the men in Moira Street last night. The gunmen then fled the scene. He says the motive for the double murder and the attempted murder is being investigated.

The possibility that it’s gang-related has not been ruled out. Detectives attached to the Anti-Gang Unit are pursuing leads to apprehend the perpetrators of this crime.
