The body of a baby boy has been found dumped on the N12 in the North West.

A motorist made the discovery on New Year’s day near Klerksdorp.  The baby, which was only a few weeks old, had his hands and legs tied with a plastic bag.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the infant had bruises on his body.

A case of murder is being investigated. No arrests have yet been made.
