The Democratic Alliance has announced Geordin Hill-Lewis as its candidate for Cape Town mayor.

The party announced its mayoral candidates earlier, with Nqaba Bhanga once again their preferred member to head the Nelson Mandela Bay metro.

This as the Good Party has announced Brett Herron to take up the Cape Town mayor’s chain should the party come out tops in the municipal elections.

Political parties and independent candidates have until nine o’clock to submit their candidate lists for the upcoming polls to the IEC.
