Lansdowne police are investigating a house robbery in Taronga Road, Crawford.

An unknown suspect entered the premises at about 2.30 this morning and bound and gagged the sole occupant.

The suspect made off with the victim’s jewellery and fled the scene in her VW Polo.

The car has since been recovered.
