Journalists have voiced their frustration at the government’s handling of press briefings this week. The sessions were meant to provide details of measures to curb the economic sabotage that has ripped through KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng. But Acting Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni had only provided superficial details, while opting to disregard journalists’ pointed questions. Is South Africa muzzling its media?
