There has been another major drug bust on the N1 highway in the Western Cape.
Over R2 million worth of tik was found during a search of luggage on a passenger bus in Beaufort West. Officers attached to the Police’s Central Karoo K9 Unit made the discovery.
A 37-year-old passenger travelling from Durban was arrested.
Police say preliminary investigations indicate that the narcotics were supposed to be delivered in Cape Town.
The suspect who faces a charge of dealing in drugs is set to appear in the Beaufort West Magistrates’ court.
