INGREDIENTS
- 8 drumsticks
- 8 thighs (You can use whichever pieces of chicken with bone you prefer)
- 1 heaped tablespoon garlic and gingerÂ
- 2 tablespoons yoghurt
- 2 level tablespoons Tikka Spice
- 2 heaped tablespoons Orange Pepper Spice
- 1 tsp jeera (cumin)
- 1 tsp dhania (coriander)
- Âľ cup Steers Spicy Tikka sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- Squeeze of fresh lemon
- Salt to taste
METHOD
Line your oven tray with baking paper or an airfryer with a liner. Transfer the chicken and if there’s extra marinade, keep it aside. Be mindful not to over crowd the tray and leave enough space in between to grill and char.

Oven bake/ grill on 200 degrees for 40 minutes or Airfry on 200 degrees for 20 minutes and turn halfway and airfry for another 5-10 minutes depending on the size of your chicken pieces. 3 minutes before your cooking time is done, give the chicken one last baste with the remaining marinade for extra flavour.

Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and fresh lemon wedges.

For a saucy Tikka:
Â
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 1 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons orange pepper
- 1 tablespoon tandoori spice
On a stove top over a medium heat, heat all the above ingredients until it comes to a slow boil. Remove from the heat and pour over the Tikka.
