He was speaking following the announcement that BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) will be expanded to include six other nations (Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates).
The Brazilian president also noted that in a world in transition, BRICS offers creative solutions to challenges being faced globally.
