Human rights activists in South Africa are supporting a bill that will effectively outlaw the country’s dealings with Zionist Israel. The Implementation and Protection of Palestinian Solidarity Rights Bill will apply to the government and private sector and prevent them from having diplomatic ties and trading with the regime.

The activists say that the bill is long overdue and is a huge contribution to ending the wrongful and oppressive occupation of Palestine. To discuss the bill we are joined by its author, Human Rights Attorney Ziyaad Patel
