The bail application of the man accused of murdering Athlone vet, Dr Natheem Jacobs, has been postponed to June 7.

Javon Williams will remain in police custody until then.

He handed himself over to the police this week.

The 27-year-old Jacobs was murdered in March when he tried to stop criminals from stripping his car. Williams is allegedly part of a group of criminals who target vehicles parked outside.
