The Israeli occupation regime has destroyed a mosque in the town of Duma in Palestine.

Bulldozers escorted by Zionist forces stormed the town where they demolished the place of worship as well as razed agricultural roads.

Ghassan Daghlas who monitors Israeli atrocities in the northern parts of the West Bank says for the past two years Muslims have been praying at that mosque.

The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has lambasted the demolition saying its clear act of aggression against Muslims’ holy sites and an act of provocation against Muslim sentiments.

Last month, the Israeli occupation regime destroyed a part of the al-Yusufiya Cemetery in Al Quds to build a park on the historic graveyard.

The attacks on mosques and other historic Palestinian sites are part of Apartheid Israel’s campaign to strip the occupied lands of its Palestinians identity and steal more land.
