The Israeli occupation regime has yet again exposed its brutality and disrespect for the dead.

Zionist forces attacked the funeral procession of martyr Walid al-Sharif in Al Quds. They also stormed the cemetery.

The 21-year-old Palestinian succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli assault on the Al Aqsa Mosque compound during the fasting month of Ramadaan.

According to reports at least 16 Palestinians have been wounded as Zionist forces fired live bullets, tear gas and stun grenades at mourners. Palestinians retaliated by throwing rocks and discharging firecrackers.

Last week the Israeli occupation military attacked the funeral of murdered journalist Shereen Abu Aqleh.
