The cold-blooded atrocities being carried out on unarmed civilians in Syria’s coastal region must be denounced and anyone with a conscience should work to stop these crimes.

The Commander of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi made the call in the wake of the slaughter being carried out against the Alawite community by terrorist groups affiliated to self-appointed Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa.

Houthi said that the developments in Syria reveal the insistence by takfiri groups to continue their brutal criminal path and distort Islam. He asserted that the “takfiris” in Syria are providing a great service to the Israeli enemy and US by tearing apart Syria’s social fabric.

He noted that since Israel announced its protection of Syria’s Druze in Sweida, the takfiris have not dared to harm them; rather, they respect them.

They have also not fired a single bullet at the Israeli enemy, despite its invasion and occupation of southern Syria.

The Israeli occupation has made it clear that Syria forms part of a so-called Greater Israel and that it wants a subservient regime in Syria which has limited military power.
