In the Panjshir region of Afghanistan, a group calling itself the National Resistance Front(NRF) is set to take on the Taliban if talks fail.
Headed by Ahmad Massoud, the son of the assassinated Afghan legendary fighter Ahmad Shah Massoud, the men say they are fighting for all of Afghanistan.
Panjshir is renowned for its ability to withstand attack, having countered the Russians and even preventing the Taliban previously from controlling the mountainous region. But is the new breed of resistance the same as the Mujahideen of the past?
