There have been deadly shootings in the Manenberg policing precinct.
At least four people were killed, and two others wounded in two separate attacks on Wednesday night.
In the first incident, four people in a motor vehicle jumped out and opened fire at close range at five men who were walking down Klipfontein Road.
Manenberg police spokesperson, Captain Ian Bennett says three were killed including an 18-year-old.
At least 56 spent cartridges were collected from the scene.
Shortly afterwards, a drive-by shooting was reported on the corner of Silverstream Road and Jordaan Street.
Three people were shot and wounded, including a 48-year-old woman.
The 18-year-old who was hit in that attack, later succumbed to his multiple gunshot wounds.
Bennett says 43 spent cartridges were found at that scene.
No arrests have yet been made in both acts of suspected gang terror.
