Hamas has told the Israeli occupation entity that the escalation in its deadly terror campaign on the civilians in Gaza is a losing gamble at the expense of the Israeli prisoners of war (POWs).

The Palestinian resistance movement stressed that Israeli POWs in Gaza will not return through military escalation, but only through a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal.

The Israeli entity has failed to release all its settlers in Gaza despite the brutal genocidal aggression on the enclave which has seen the slaughter of more than 50 000 Palestinians and the wounding of some 100 000 others.

The US-backed Israeli entity has also imposed a campaign of starvation in the hope that this would break the Palestinian will of resistance. To date, Palestinians have remained defiant and steadfast.
