There is no dignity or honour for the Ummah without Al-Quds. That’s the warning of the head of Hamas in Gaza, Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya.
He has stressed that Al-Quds remains the compass and symbol of the struggle, the path for every fighter and the banner of unity for the resisting nation. But warned that any neglect or attempt to abandon even an inch of Al Quds will be a betrayal of religion, the homeland and the sacrifices of the thousands of martyrs.
“We say to the entire world, the time has come for Palestinians to take their rights – clearly and completely in their land and homeland. For this ongoing occupation to end and for us to establish our complete sovereign state with Al-Quds as its capital, to ensure the return of our people and refugees to their homes from which they were expelled – any disregard to this reality and persistence in the policy of double standards would not only exacerbate instability in the region, but may also have repercussions in the region on a global scale.” said Al-Hayya.
He was speaking at the “Al-Quds Platform” event which was held in the lead up to International Quds Day on Friday – 28th March 2025.
He shared the platform with other resistance leaders including Hezbollah’s secretary general Sheikh Naim Qassem.
