Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Dean Macpherson has launched a new initiative to fund project preparation for construction companies.

This support aims to ensure projects in sectors like Energy, Water and Sanitation, and Transport are completed on time and within budget.

The application deadline is December 6th. Infrastructure South Africa, which is leading this effort, has encouraged submissions from both public and private sectors.

This initiative builds on President Cyril Ramaphosa’s earlier announcement of R179 million in project preparation funding to boost infrastructure investment.
