ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa believes that the so called Government of National Unity (GNU) should be judged on its achievements and not on the parties in it.

In his address to supporters marking 100 days since the formation of this grand coalition Ramaphosa said that it should be judged by the impact that it will make on the lives of the poor and working people.

Ramaphosa noted that the ANC is well aware it has ideological and policy differences with its GNU partners.

It comes as the ANC’s alliance partners, the SACP and COSATU snub the GNU celebration event outside Luthuli House as it is opposed to the party having gone into bed with right-wing parties like the DA Freedom Front Plus.
