Resistance fighters have successfully detonated an explosive device in an Israeli Merkava tank in southern Gaza.

The Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces says it eliminated and wounded the enemy soldiers as the military vehicle invaded the Al-Salam neighborhood east of the city of Rafah.

Meanwhile, Saraya Al-Quds bombarded occupation soldiers and vehicles at the Civil Administration in the east of Jabalia camp.

Standard 60 mm mortar shells were used in the operation. For more than a year since the Al Flood Operation the US backed Israeli occupation has been unable to deter the Palestinian armed resistance or crush it.

The Israeli entity has also failed to achieve its stated goals in the besieged Gaza Strip despite its mass murder and destruction against the people there.
