Delft SAPS uncovers the body of 12-year-old boy in an open field

Delft police are investigating the murder of a 12-year-old boy.

It follows the discovery of his charred remains in an open field in Leiden on Wednesday.

The Police’s Frederick Van Wyk said officers found the body after receiving a complaint from Radio Control about the discovery of a body. They found his body mutilated and burned.

Van Wyk added that circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. No arrests have yet been made.
