INGREDIENTS
- ½ green pepper (sliced)
- ½ red pepper (sliced)
- ½ yellow pepper (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 125g mushrooms (sliced)
- ½ head broccoli (cut into bite sized pieces)
- 3-4 green onions (sliced) (keep extra for garnish)
- 250-300g steak (sliced)
- 3-5 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 250 g egg noodles
- 160ml soy sauce
- 4 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 4 tsp sugar
- 40ml corn starch
- 120ml water
- 1tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
METHOD
Sauté onions in a wok on high heat for 2-3 minutes, then add in the steak and cook for 3-5 minutes. Then add in your minced garlic, mushrooms and green onions and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.Therafter add in the broccoli and peppers and saute for 3-5 minutes.
Combine the soy sauce,sugar,black pepper ,sesame oil, vinegar, water and corn starch together then add directly into the stir fry and mix until it thickens, then remove from the heat .
Cook egg noodles to the packaging’s instructions and once it is cooked add it directly into the stir fry and combine. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, serve and enjoy
