Alarm has again been raised about the weaponry being used by the Israeli occupation entity against the Palestinian people in the blockaded Gaza Strip.

The local Government Media Office says over 320 martyrs and injured arrived at hospitals in the enclave with severe burns. It says this was seen over a 48-hour period.

Medical assessments indicate that the third-degree burns are caused by thermal or chemical weapons. The Office says these are unconventional and internationally prohibited weapons which are banned for use against humans.

It adds that that weapons are mostly American made.

These weapons cause a chemical reaction with the skin, leading to the burning of tissues in the body. It causes severe pain and deep physical damage.

The Gaza Government Media Office has called on all countries around the world to condemn these US backed Israeli crimes against civilians, to pursue the Israeli occupation, and to prosecute it before international courts.
