Palestinian factions have sent out a serious warning to the world that an Israeli ground invasion of the city of Rafah in Gaza will only lead to an explosion in the region.

In a statement released upon the conclusion of an important national meeting, the factions say such Israeli arrogance and aggression will threaten the security of the entire region, especially that of Egypt.

It referred to the geographical location of the Gazan city which is on the border with the north African country. More than where 1.5 million Palestinians are sheltering in Rafah.

The factions also noted that the US administration and the Western community bear full responsibility for the Israeli war machine’s potential invasion of Rafah. The US has not only been funding the genocide in Gaza through arms but is actively involved in a sinister plot to construct a pier on Gaza’s coastline.
