The Bo Kaap community has once again embodied the spirit of solidarity with Palestine by using whatever skills or resources they have, to denounce the brutal Israeli occupation. Radio 786 broadcasted from the Schotschekloof Flats this morning, speaking to activists and residents about how they show their support to Palestine.

 

Amongst them was Obeidullah Gierdien, who has initiated the Palestine mural campaign. He also worked in Cape Town’s emergency rooms, and says that the wounds being inflicted on Palestinians is far worse than the injuries coming from gang violence.
