From the Zionist establishment, through to its international allies, media mouthpieces and intelligence agencies, surprise and shock has been expressed at the dramatic execution of operation al-Aqsa Flood, launched Saturday morning by the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas from the besieged Gaza Strip in Palestine. But for those who attentively follow developments in Occupied Palestine, the broader region and the expressions of the Resistance, it was a case of the Muqawimeen (Resistance) making good on its promies to retaliate in a “time and place” of its choosing.
