Amid an intensified campaign to normalise homosexuality and the LGBTQIA+ etc. culture, Muslims and those of other faiths have grappled with how to react to and manage a concept which is condemned in the Abrahamic faiths.
The idea of sexually being attracted to a person of the same gender was originally classified in psychology as a mental disorder. However in later times, this classification was dropped and replaced with the notion that sex(being male or female and having the relevant sexual organs) did not determine ‘orientation’ and that there exists more than one gender.
As the LGBTQIA+ lobby grows, increasingly companies, television series and other entities in the public sphere have adopted the campaign to normalise these ideas and coerce the general public to accept them as well.
But what is the divine view on homosexuality and sexually engaging outside of the defined roles of woman and man as outlined in the Holy Scriptures?
