It’s been a long walk to closure for the families of the Srebrenica massacre victims.
July 12th marked 27 years since the attacks on Muslim men and boys in the Bosnian town began. Thousands were massacred and dumped into mass graves.
On Tuesday, 3 000 mourners attended the funeral of 50 newly identified victims. Their remains were found in mass graves, and were recently identified through DNA analysis.
But Bosnia and Herzegovina remains divided along ethnic lines, as many refuse to confront the country’s violent past.
