The system crash at Government’s Printing Works in 2019 would have a dire impact on the country’s economy.
Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says he is worried that the information lost would not be recovered, including CVs and information of people looking for employment.
He was speaking during a briefing with Parliament’s Home Affairs Committee on the investigations into the crash.
The Government Printing Works is responsible for producing passports, visas and other related publishing and production services for state institutions.
Among the affected sectors include the legal profession who have indicated that they cannot continue with their work.
