Ramaphosa didn’t like me asking corrupt Glencore to pay back the money – Koko

Former Eskom chief executive, Matshela Koko is consulting his lawyers to launch new investigations into President Cyril Ramaphosa for his links to Glencore’s corrupt deals at the power utility.

Koko had told the State Capture Commission that there had been tensions between Eskom and Glencore, and President Ramaphosa was the head of government business and overseeing the utility at the time.

Former Eskom CEO, Brian Molefe had previously accused Glencore of supplying the utility with sub-standard coal during his tenure.

For his part, Koko has accused the Zondo Commission of ignoring his testimony relating to Eskom and Glencore’s relationship. He says that he considering taking the matter further.
