Government has revised the KwaZulu-Natal flood death down to 435.

Police Minister Bheki Cele made the revelation following postmortems on other dead bodies recovered during search and rescue operations which found different causes of death.

He was speaking during the government’s Justice, Crime and Prevention Security Cluster briefing, updating the media about the status of interventions in KZN.

An unconfirmed number of people are still unaccounted for.
