The African Union is walking on eggshells as it deals with the issue of the Israeli regime’s observer status at the continental body. This was after it was unilaterally granted accreditation last July by then AU Commission chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat.
The AU’s newly elected chairperson Macky, Sall says that this matter will be postponed to next year. An interim committee has been set up in the meantime to build a consensus on the issue. Is this move changing the AU’s stance on the Zionist regime and could it break the AU?
