Fire crews have continued with mop-up operations at parliament after the devastating fire which gutted the National Assembly, old assembly chamber and offices.
Radio 786 gained close-up access to the buildings.
Public Enterprises Minister, Patricia De Lille, says a team comprising electrical, structural and mechanical engineers are awaiting the go-ahead to enter the building to assess the extent of the damage. A drone has meantime been used to conduct a preliminary survey.
An estimate of the damage and preliminary findings are expected by Friday.
