Bethlehem, Palestine… the birthplace of Jesus Christ or Prophet Esa(PBUH) has been under occupation for over 70 years.
Amid the regular reports of violence, it is easy to forget the critical attachment which Christianity bears to the Middle East and Palestine in particular. In fact, the erasing of the Christian heritage has not only removed the physical manifestation but also the perception of the reality that the Middle East is still home to Christians.

As the Christian community prepares for the celebration of the birth of Jesus, what is life like under occupation, what is life like in the homeland of Jesus?
