Salt River and Woodstock residents took to the streets over the weekend to object to the selling of alcohol at local petrol stations. Communities believe that petrol stations and adjoining convenience stores will be fueling the existing problem by applying for a liquor license. This as alcohol harm already cost South Africa R38 billion annually.
