A Cabinet reshuffle is potentially on the cards. This as President Cyril Ramaphosa, is considering a ‘Cabinet reconfiguration’ amid growing calls for him to fire ministers in the security cluster.
It comes following the recent looting and violent unrest in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal. Speaking during his visit to vaccination sites in Thembisa and Midrand, Ramaphosa admitted that the state wasn’t prepared for the unrest it experienced.
While the president couldn’t provide a time frame for the potential reshuffling, he called on the media to ‘watch this space’.
