If your employer has threatened you with retrenchment for refusing to get vaccinated against Covid-19, the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has urged you to come forward.

SAHRC Gauteng Head Commissioner Buang Jones says they are exploring the legalities around the issue of forced vaccination claims. The government has previously stated that if you’re eligible to get inoculated, you are not forced to do so.  It comes after some employers have threatened their staff with retrenchment if they don’t get vaccinated.
