The Al Jama-ah party has expressed their disappointment in the Western Cape Legislature, for refusing to discuss the situation in Palestine. During the sitting, the only other political party who opposed Speaker Masizole Mnqasela’s ruling on the matter was the ANC. Mnqasela noted that the topic of Palestine in the legislature is ‘procedurally out of order in that it deals with a matter falling outside the scope of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament.
