More arrests have been made in connection with Monday’s attack at the Cape Town station deck that left seven people shot and wounded. Police say four suspects were detained with the assistance of Railway Police. It brings the number of arrests to six.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court tomorrow. However, the two who were apprehended on the day of the shooting already appeared. The pair faces seven counts of attempted murder, reckless endangerment to a person or property, and the discharging of a firearm in a public place. One of them faces a charge of being in possession of an illegal firearm. It’s believed the shooting is taxi-related.
