Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades has distanced itself from the position of the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership as Operation Al Aqsa Flood continues to shake the Israeli occupation regime.

It says the path followed by the leadership of Mahmoud Abbas is subservient to the Zionist-American administration and the killer West.

The resistance group says this does not represent the Al-Aqsa Brigades and the Fatah movement. In its statement it reaffirmed that armed struggle is the only and closest path to liberating Palestine.

It has warned those who fail or conspire against the Palestinian people will be held to account. Abbas had criticised Hamas for taking a stand against the occupation entity claiming the actions did not represent Palestinian people.
