33 people rescued from human trafficking in Benoni

At least 33 people believed to be victims of human trafficking have been rescued from a house in Benoni, in Gauteng. Police made the discovery while detectives from KwaZulu-Natal were tracing a suspect in connection with the kidnapping of a foreign national in Springfield Park last week. At least one suspect was arrested. Police say the ages of the victims are yet to be confirmed.
